The setting ist easy: every second "MITTWOCH" four very old friends meet up to make music. Their last joint musical encounter as a student band goes back to the early 80s. The tools changed, the spirit remains the same, even if the setting is now transmitted from a dusty and humid cellar into a warm and cosy living room.

The idea is clear: usually the musicians react directly with voice, lyrics and instruments to musical sketches brought along on the laptop, some of the songs are immediate results of the evening without preproduction.

One way or the other - the feeling and the roughness of the successful moment is more important than the perfection of polished exercises.

The first outcome of these pleasurable meetings is now online: MITTWOCH 1!
